Precision, shaped by nature.

Not every coffee tool needs to look mechanical.

Forma brings together the clarity of machined metal and the warmth of natural walnut, shaping them into an object designed to be held, used and left in view.

Its rounded-square silhouette feels architectural on the counter—distinctive without demanding attention, tactile without becoming ornamental.

Designed Beyond the Cylinder

Most hand grinders begin with the same familiar shape. Forma begins with the hand.

Its softly rounded rectangular body creates a broad, comfortable surface to hold while grinding. Inside, the mechanism remains precisely centred; outside, the sculpted form feels stable, balanced and unmistakably different.

A coffee grinder shaped as thoughtfully as the ritual it belongs to.

Metal, Balanced by Wood

Cool aluminium meets naturally warm walnut.

The upper body provides strength and structure, while the removable wooden grounds cup brings texture to the part of the grinder you touch most often. Every piece of walnut carries its own grain, making the character of each Forma subtly individual.

The contrast is intentional: precision above, warmth below.

Centred for Consistency

A consistent grind begins with a stable burr.

Forma uses a dual-bearing system to support the central shaft and reduce unnecessary movement while the handle turns. Its stainless-steel conical burr cuts through roasted coffee with a smooth, controlled motion, helping produce more even grounds and a more balanced extraction.

The result is quieter than an electric grinder and more deliberate by design.

Adjusted to Your Cup

Coffee rarely asks for a single setting.

A tactile stepped adjustment system lets you move gradually between finer and coarser grinds, making it easy to adapt Forma to different beans, brewers and recipes.

Each setting settles into place with a clear physical response—simple enough for the everyday cup, precise enough for continued experimentation.

Made for the Daily Ritual

Forma holds approximately 25–30 grams of coffee, enough for a generous individual brew or a shared pour-over.

The long crank provides comfortable leverage, while the sculpted wooden knob turns naturally beneath the hand. Once grinding is complete, the walnut grounds cup removes cleanly, bringing freshly ground coffee directly to your brewer.

No motor. No screen. Nothing between you and the coffee.

An Object Worth Keeping in View

Beanmiller believes useful objects should not need to be hidden when the work is finished.

Forma was chosen for the quiet balance between performance and presence: a grinder that belongs beside considered ceramics, natural stone and the objects that make a kitchen feel personal.

Its purpose is practical. Its place in the home is something more.
